Brooklyn subway shooting leaves 16 injured, ‘undetonated devices’ found: FDNY

VIDEOS/PHOTOS: The New York Police Department confirmed that a shooting took place at a Brooklyn subway station Tuesday morning during peak commuting hours for employees headed into Manhattan.

At least 16 people were injured, Fox News has learned, up from the initial 13 reported.

An NYPD spokesperson told Fox News that a shooting took place at the 36th St. station in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. The department would not immediately confirm how many people were shot and whether there were any fatalities. The suspect is still at large.

New York City Fire Department sources told Fox News that firefighters responded to a call for smoke in the D-N-R lines. Upon arrival, units discovered multiple people shot and several undetonated devices at the same location. It continues to be an active scene.
